This course is a brief overview of the courses offered on Maths4Biosciences to help biology, chemistry and bioscience student s with their "science maths".
If you find that you are struggling to understand moles and molar, what a percentage solution is or how to calculate the number of grams of a compound you need to make such a solution, or how to perform dilutions, then these courses are for you.
In addition to the "science maths" there are also courses on spectrophotometry and enzyme kinetics.
Your Instructor

I have over 16 years of experience teaching on undergraduates biomedical science degrees, and I have worked as a research bioscientist for over 25 years.
Everyday I perform the types of calculations covered in the courses offered at Math4Biosciences, and through my teaching I know how, and where, students struggle with the maths they need to do to pass their classes and to carry out their research.
